Presentations & Workshops

Presentations and workshops represent a single (or small series) of educational offerings for groups. I’ve provided such offerings to a wide range of groups in a variety of containers, including as part of conferences, college courses, seminar series, clinical team meetings, retreats, and more.

My pedagogical approach is increasingly focused on facilitating an experiential process, in addition to providing content. Within this approach, some recent offered topics have included:

  • trauma-responsive facilitation of movement with gender expansive communities

  • deconstructing expertise and white supremacy culture within clinical group facilitation

  • providing gender-affirming integrated care

  • working with plant medicine and trauma survivors

Speaking INvestment

Standard rates for Presentations & Workshops are offered on a sliding scale of $125-175 per hour, with a final rate to be agreed upon based on the number of hours anticipated to be needed for preparation of materials and any travel required.

The equity rate scale of $50-100 per hour is available to organizations & teams whose leadership (executive and managerial levels, if applicable) is composed of >50% queer and trans Black & Indigenous folks and other people of color, with a final rate to be agreed upon based on the number of hours anticipated to be needed for preparation of materials and any travel required.

Consultation

Organizational & Team Consultation can take many shapes in working towards greater values-alignment within your work. Collaboratively-identified consulting offerings might consist of:

  • customized workshops or educational series,

  • Q & A sessions with leadership teams and/or staff,

  • dialogues about organizational hopes & challenges,

  • auditing of internal or client-facing educational or other materials, and/or

  • co-development of internal or client facing materials.

Through consultation, I’m particularly well-positioned to support organizations or groups with questions about:

  • work with gender-expansive communities,

  • integrating trauma-responsive principles into service delivery or organizational dynamics,

  • using a strengths-based and embodied perspective to work with a challenge or situation in a new way, and/or

  • improving forms and other materials to better align with organizational values & trauma-responsive principles.
